1. Magod Waterfalls

A Group of waterfalls

Magod Falls is a group of waterfalls in Karnataka, India, where the river Bedti falls from a height of nearly 200 metres in two steps. The falls are located about 17 kilometres from the town of Yellapur, and are easily accessible from several lakes and towns.




2. SHIRLEY WaterFALLS

A Scenic Waterfall

One of the safest yet beautiful waterfall, it's 3.5-4km from main road ( Gokarna-Yellapur road). Cars & bike can reach upto 2.5 km rest of it has to be walked out. Near the falls there is bridge made out of Bamboo sticks it's fun. Even swimming is quite safe.

4. SODHE VADIRAJA MATHA

The Brindavana of Swami Vadiraja

This village is special because it is the headquarters of the Sodhe Matha. The Sodhe Matha is part of the Ashta mathas set up by Sri Madhvacharya. This Matha was established by a Dvaita saint, Sri Vadiraja. It is believed that at the age of 120 years, the saint entered Samadhi alive from this matha. His mortal remains are enshrined in the matha.




5. Sahasralinga

The Place of Thousands of Shivalingas

Sahasralinga is a pilgrimage place, located around 14 km from the Sirsi Taluk in the district of Uttara Kannada of Karnataka state in India. It is in the river Shalmala and is famous for being the location where around a thousand lingas are carved on rocks in the river and on its banks.




6. Vibhuthi Waterfalls

The Hidden Waterfalls

Vibhuthi Falls is located in Ankola taluk of Uttara Kannada district in Karnataka, India. The word 'Vibhuthi' means limestone. The water in this fall comes past limestone rocks near Yana and so the falls is called as 'Vibhuthi Falls'. The falls is accessible by road from SH143 of Karnataka State. The nearest railway station is in Kumta, about 40 km from Vibhuthi falls.




7. Yana Caves

A Land of Unusual Rock

Yana is an ideal destination for pilgrims, trekkers, and nature-lovers alike. A 16km trek through the cool and breezy hills brings you to the foot of the mountain where the rock formations begin. At the top, a stunning sight awaits you: the awesome Bhairaveshwara and Jaganmohini shikharas (or peaks). A cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva lies below these shikharas. The vagaries of time have caused these limestone structures to turn blackish brown and lots of beehives dot the rock surface.




8. Sathoddi Waterfalls

Mini-Niagra of Yellapur

Sathoddi Falls is a waterfall in India that is formed by several unnamed streams near Kallaramane Ghat, Uttara Kannada District, near Yellapur, Karnataka, and 32 km from Yellapur. It is about 15 metres tall. The stream then flows into the backwaters of the Kodasalli Dam, into the Kali River.




9. Ghante Ganapathi Temple

The Powerful

This temple is situated at a place called as Chandaguli around 18 km from a city Yellapur, surrounded by paddy fields, Areca nut and coconut plantations amidst of lush green jungle. This temple is also identified with another name “Ghante Ganesha Temple”. Ghante means “bell” in the local language Kannada. By offering Ghante (bell) to the lord Ganesha lot of people got rid of health problems, court cases, got children, many things happened miraculously. That is the reason why we can see lot of bells hanging around the temple.

Jenukal Gudda is around 20 KM from Yellapur town. The Bedti River cuts across the forest & hills around here to bounce its way to join the Arabian Sea gushing down the hills The breathtaking view of the valley is worth a visit and this place gives you the magical myriad hues of a spectacular sunset




11. Marikamba Temple

The temple of Goddess Durga

in Sirsi, Karnataka, India, is a Hindu temple dedicated to a form of the goddess Durga. It is also known as Marigudi, with "Doddamma" denoting the "elder sister" of all Mariammas in Karnataka. The central icon is an eight-armed image of Durga, also known by the names Renuka and Yellamma.




12. Madhukeshwara Temple

The honey-hued Shivalinga

Madhukeshwara Temple Banavasi was the first capital city of Karnataka when it was ruled by the Kadamba dynasty. The city dates back to 375 AD. It has been mentioned in revered terms by Chinese traveler-monk, Huen Tsang, Greco-Roman writer, Ptolemy, Kalidasa and Chamarasa. Over the years, it was given many different names; Konkanapura, Nandanavana, Vanavasika, etc. Today the main structure that remains is the Madhukeshwara temple.
